Podocarpus is a slow-growing shrub and is most commonly used as a privacy hedge. Podocarpus are salt tolerant and are usually maintained from 5 – 10ft (height). Podocarpus is highly attractive when trimmed into a neat compact hedge and can also be trained as a topiary given time. Podocarpus looks its best when watered on a routine basis allowing the soil to dry between waterings.
